This quote is also from my addendum (supplement) to my first report:
Reiterated from my original letter, item 12, page 39: They have created a canned note web-based system for use with CAPP plans when they arrive, and guess what? Out of all of the Divisions who have Canned Notes on the web site, PSD has the fewest. Because we need fewer inspections at PSD? Nope. Our QA Management has been corrupted to the point that they want exactly what Manufacturing wants, right or wrong--the fewest inspections possible. In fact, they have gone far beyond what would be possible in a healthy, functioning Quality System, and have set their sights on no inspections whatsoever as their goal, it seems. You’ll notice that PSD’s list of notes even leaves out the very basic inspections, such as an "OK to Close" inspection.
Here is the intranet address for the canned note database:

If you have access to this site, be careful when you click in each box to limit your search to PSD canned notes. It is very poorly laid out, and it is easy to click the wrong boxes if you are not careful. Sort of like the famous "butterfly ballot."
