As noted in my July 25th post, the FAA utterly failed a test of its current integrity. Their management is more corrupt than ever, as proven by that test.
The next test of integrity will be that of the DOT OIG. However, they failed miserably in demonstrating any integrity in 2007.
I doubt there will be good news from this "test." DOT OIG corruption is the root cause of continuing FAA corruption.
They have let the FAA investigate reports about FAA corruption, and have quashed any investigation of substantive reports of FAA corruption with no investigation whatsoever.
I'll report here on the results of this real world experiment when results come in.
