An additional quote from the "letter never sent" (except to the OIG):
I stated in my report how BCAG Management is so corrupted with their hate of “non-value added” inspectors and “non-value added” inspection of our airplanes, that they are trying mightily to expunge the words “inspect,” “inspection,” and “inspector” from existence throughout BCAG (with the hated inspectors like me, too, of course) and instead use the words “verify,” “verification,” and “process operator”/“verifier” in their places.
How far do they hope they will subvert our Quality System during this Pogrom? Do they think they will succeed in the same way they intend to succeed in subverting inspection of our airplanes in A&I areas of the factories by implementation of “self-rollerstamping?”
For example, do they think they will just be able to get a mechanic, in any downtime from the “pushing garbage out the door” and “selfrollerstamping,” to do “receival verification” of supplier parts that used to be done by the hated inspectors who, by then, will only be a distant memory (BCAG Management is hoping) at BCAG? Or, will they just put an extra “self rollerstamping” buyoff on the IP having the mechanic “buy off” the “receival verification” of the supplier part as they/after they install it? Your guess is as good as mine. Do not however, underestimate their corruption in this regard, especially after they intend to ask/have asked you for approval to hire blind “Manufacturing Inspectors” “to add value” by implementing deletion of vision testing for them.)
