This quote is also from my first report to the FAA local MIDO office, when I was naive and chose not to believe all those press reports about the FAA being the "handmaiden of the aviation industry" and a "tombstone agency."
Because QA management at BCAG is corrupted as described, and works to it’s own unwritten Quality System that places schedule and cost concerns always ahead of quality concerns, which are tertiary due to the redundant, crash-proof design of our products that makes any defect that could happen on the BCAG production line insignificant, the unnecessary FAA-approved BCAG Quality System has been allowed to atrophy by QA management and is nearly dead. Only unenlightened inspectors like I was still try to work to it. The enlightened inspectors sit back and collect their "welfare" checks for training mechanics who never ask for help. Because of this the following defects to the FAA-approved BCAG Quality System have been allowed to exist at PSD by corrupt QA Management and all efforts by ethical inspectors to get the attention of QA Management to fix the fixable of the following items have been intentionally stymied due to their corruption, and fear of cost and schedule impacts to Manufacturing:
