This quote is also from my first report to the FAA local MIDO office, when I was naive and chose not to believe all those press reports about the FAA being the "handmaiden of the aviation industry" and a "tombstone agency."
Letting us continue as we are only invites unethical QA Management to manipulate the lack of documentation to further what seems to have been their main goal since (name) was (QA) Director--the implementation of self-inspection as a cost saving move, as they know how corrupt the current System is, and, in effect, due to the number of roller stamping inspectors they have made, and the number they are trying to convert, like me, we are really operating to self-inspection now at PSD.
Implementation of self-inspection is only a formality to QA Management that will allow them to cast off all of the roller stamping inspectors that are just taking up payroll without doing real work. I said this very same thing in the "comments" section of the last Boeing Employee Survey many months ago, because I knew it was true even then. I said how they had the inspectors at PSD so cowed, that, in effect, self-inspection was already in effect at PSD, and that trying to get you to approve it would only result in risky scrutiny of our screwed up System by the FAA. Enough rambling. On to the next item:
The Last Inspector
