This quote is also from my addendum (supplement) to my first report, and refers to a requirement in the Boeing QA Manual:
See my revision to this poorly written QOI, Exhibit H, attached. I believe I did a pretty good job. Actually, most of it was not written by me, but was pulled from better written QOIs than ours across the Company.
Therefore, it has something from virtually every QOI at the Company written on the subject. Of course, when I was done, it was almost twice as long, due to all the missing stuff I had added. Of course, it didn’t matter, as it is probably in some landfill at this point.
I’d like to think that the way I wrote it would be the way it would be written if BCAG consolidated all their QOIs--at least that was my goal when I wrote it.
Of course, anyone can write a QOI, even a monkey, as our QOIs prove, but I think the effort I put into it shows (see the explanation of changes with it to see what procedures I plagiarized for it, which is a small proportion of what I reviewed when doing my research).
