You’ll find this repeatedly at PSD. If there is something that (Boeing) QA management doesn’t want to do, they’ll delete it from the document they see the requirement in.
They are either too cheap, too corrupt, or too incompetent, or some combination of those qualities, to care to realize that the requirement they just deleted from the lowest level document came from somewhere, and by deleting the requirement from only that one document, they didn’t murder the requirement like they intended.
Maybe they’ll try to tell you they didn’t know of the parent document that needed to be revised, but in this case that won’t fly, as it is only a few pages back in the same manual in Directive 060!
